Hours: 36 Hours per Week

Base Location: Hyde Town Hall, Market Street, Hyde. SK14 1AL

Children Services are looking to appoint a Conference & Review Clerk to provide a comprehensive administrative support for their Child Protection Case Conference meetings.

The successful candidate must be proactive, be able to show initiative, have the ability to work as part of a team, liaise with external agencies, Social Workers, Team Managers & all levels of staff within the service.

You will be responsible for arranging meetings, collating & circulating information to the relevant people, taking detailed & accurate minutes of the meeting and updating the necessary records with the outcome of the meetings into an electronic database. The minutes will need to be disseminated to professionals and parents.

Strong organisation skills are required along with a good level of IT competence in order to work with the database & spreadsheets. Excellent word processing skills are required in order to record minutes of the Child Protection Case Conferences during the meeting.

You should be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate with colleagues and service users and their carers. In addition, you will be expected to participate in the development and continual improvement of this part of the service.

You must demonstrate knowledge of the facilities provided by our service and should possess good communication skills.
