1 X SENIOR DATA AND ANALYSIS ASSISTANT

36 hours per week, Permanent
Salary: Grade F – SCP17 £24,491 to SCP22 £27,041 per annum
Located at Tameside One, Market Place, Ashton Under Lyne, OL6 6BH (Working from home during the period of Covid-19)

We are currently putting together ambitious plans to grow and develop Tameside and Glossop and looking for somebody to join our Policy, Performance & Communications team to help drive this work forward.
You will be at the cutting edge of developments across the sector and will gain a wide range of skills and experiences. We would particularly welcome applications from those who are interested in using data and intelligence to understand how services are performing and how to drive improvement. Using a range of intelligence activities including performance reporting, benchmarking, dashboard/scorecard development and analysis you will champion innovative practices to drive high performance. Knowledge of the Health and social care arena and understanding the care pathway would be beneficial.
You will be expected to work independently as part of a busy team, working closely with Senior Managers, Elected Councillors NHS Governing Body Members and Partners such as the Police and Housing Associations. You will be supported and offered a structured programme of development aimed at supporting you in your future career.
Skills and Experience required:
• Excellent data interrogation, intelligence and analytical skills
• The ability to develop and present creative approaches to problems
• Knowledge of Children’s services, Adult Social Care and/ or NHS datasets and intelligence approaches
• Ability to work well in a fast paced environment, and ability to exercise high levels of initiative to devise and implement workable solutions
• Good attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills
