Night Care Support Worker

Permanent

Part time 35 hours per week

Grade E Point 11 £21,143 to point 16 £23,345

We are opening a new scheme supporting younger adult males living in the community. Can you make a positive contribution by supporting Adults with Learning Disabilities in their own Flat to lead an independent and meaningful life Socialising,  exercising and making safe decisions when out in the community.

We are looking for motivated , enthusiastic and fit individuals to join a team of support workers in Tameside. We are setting up a new scheme and require male staff to form the team in this project.

We require people who have the skills to work with individuals who can sometimes challenge services, and/or have very complex needs.

 Full training will be provided in C.I.T.R.U.S.  (Creative Intervention Techniques in Response to Untoward Situations), manual handling techniques, and positive behavioural support.

You must have the availability and flexibility to work irregular hours such as weekends and bank holidays all of which are done on a Rota system.
