18 – 20 year olds = £12,328 per annum
21-22 year olds = £15,711 per annum

Hours: 36 hours per week
 
Base Location: Denton Town Hall, Market Street, Denton, M34 2AP

You will be working towards completing a Level 3 NVQ apprenticeship in Business Administration for the duration of 18 months.
 
Tameside Community Safety and Homelessness Team:
 
• Help create communities that are healthy, prosperous, safe, attractive and inspirational.
 
• Help support the Council’s approach to partnership working, with a particular emphasis on working with internal and external partners to reduce crime, promote reassurance and build stronger communities.
 
• Support the development of the Armed Forces Covenant in Tameside.
 
The team are responsible for the Community Safety and Homelessness provision in Tameside which includes creative community engagement for prevention and lifelong learning in this area.
 
Each year we involved with key partners both internal and external in a programme of projects and events which are developed and delivered to reflect the local area needs.
 
We are a busy and friendly service, operating across Tameside, and we are looking for a Modern Apprentice to help us. 
 
This role will include a full range of administrative, project and event management support activities. You will be required to answer telephones, as well as filing and photocopying, and there will be some database work. You will also have opportunity to work on events and shadow colleagues to learn about other aspects of the service.
