An opportunity has arisen for an Intelligence Support Officer to join NAFN Data and Intelligence Services, a small team based in the Risk Management and Audit Services Section.
NAFN is one of the UK’s largest shared services providing data, intelligence and best practice to support verification, fraud investigations and debt recovery to local government, housing associations and other government agencies. It has a customer base of 410 member organisations with over 10,000 registered users.
As an Intelligence Support Officer, you will be responsible for complying with legislation in the acquisition of personal and sensitive information. This is an opportunity to acquire new skills through team working and supporting fraud investigators from a wide range of organisations.
Oversight and direction is provided by an Executive Board elected annually by members at the AGM. The NAFN Leadership Team consists of the Head of Service, Membership and Communication Manager, Project Manager, and Service Team Manager who are collectively responsible for service management, performance and delivery of the annual Business Plan.
The Service Delivery Team comprises six Intelligence Officers, four Intelligence Support Officers and two Administrative Support Officers who respond to enquiries from members and support other activities undertaken to promote and further develop the service.
