Investment is underway through substantial major regeneration and capital projects across the borough. Bringing significant affordable housing development, substantial infrastructure investment to improve our connectivity across the region and beyond, alongside the revitalisation and re-imagination of our town centres.  

 

Reporting to the Major Projects Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of Tameside's growth agenda through the implementation and management of a range of programmes and projects that support the regeneration of Tameside’s town centres and communities. You will be responsible for the management of contractors and external consultants engaged to deliver specific contracts/projects.

 

You will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience.

 

You will be experienced in the successful delivery of projects and programmes with private/public sector interface on time and within budget, alongside substantial experience of working effectively in range of multi- agency and partnership settings to delivery investment and development projects.

 

You will be able to work at pace with enthusiasm engaging with and influencing stakeholders.
