The role

Tameside Children’s Services are looking to appoint a Deputy Manager to join our team for a home for long term children with complex health needs and disabilities as well as offering short breaks.
 
In this role you will assist the Registered Manager in the organisation, management and supervision of the home, as well as contribute to overall strategic planning and management of the service.
 
About you

You will hold professional or vocational qualification in relevant field and have previous experience of working with children and young people in a residential setting. 
 
We are looking for candidates with strong communications skills, up to date knowledge or legislation/regulations/standards relevant to the service area and the ability to demonstrate leadership.
 
You will uphold high standards of practice, and through quality assurance and effective performance management, you will ensure we are working at our best. You will establish and maintain strong partnerships with our partners to deliver effective support for children, young people and families.  You will collaborate with others to create the best results in service provision for children and their families.
